I'm always the last person in my family or among my friends to ever adopt any form of technology. I was the last person to get cable service, the last person to get a computer, the last person to get an HD television, and the last person to get Internet service. Even then, I only got the bare minimum of these. My television was only 720p, I only had basic cable, my computer was a low end model, and I had dial up Internet, that is, until I went to internetproviders.us.
My belief is that I really shouldn't pay more for any service or product than I have to pay. I felt that the items and services I had were good enough, and at the time they were. Now, that's not exactly the case. More and more things are being added to the Internet, and file sizes are getting bigger. This means that my old fashioned slow dial up Internet wouldn't cut it anymore. Unless I wanted to browse websites that featured only text, I needed to get a faster connection, or face waiting all day for a website to load.
I looked online and found a website that featured different Internet services in my area. After waiting ten minutes for the entire website to load on my slow connection, I found an Internet package offered by Time Warner. The package uses DSL rather than dial up, which is much faster. I've been using the Internet connection for about six months now and it's the best upgrade I've made. I can load websites much faster, load videos faster, and even play games online without them lagging all the time. Now I need to get a better computer so I can start playing some of the games that have been released in the past couple of years.Follow This Link
